As an introvert, I secretly enjoy the idea of social isolation. Actually, my life long desire had been to be holed up in a mountain home somewhere far from people. Obviously, God had other plans and moved me to a touristy city in Eastern Europe. Admittedly, I sometimes day dream of “checking out”, but I know God’s agenda is much bigger for me, and for you.
I understand that for some, there are many stressors during this time of change, but others find it somewhat satisfying to not have to be a part of the daily grind. Kelsie Mullen encourages us to find the higher ground between panic and party, so that we can stay engaged with God and His purposes, as well as be available to walk in the opportunities He puts before us.
